The Dallas Stars have signed centreman Joel L'Esperance to a two-year, two-way deal, the club announced Sunday.

The financial terms of the deal were not officially disclosed.

The 25-year-old appeared in three regular-season games for the Stars in 2019-20, and suited up for 58 games for the club's AHL affiliate, posting 25 goals and 40 points at the AHL level.

Prior to joining the Stars, L'Esperance spent four seasons at Michigan Tech.
