The Dallas Stars have signed forward Ty Dellandrea to a one-year contract worth $900,000.
The 22-year-old had 28 points in 82 games last season while leading Stars forwards with 125 hits. He also had three goals in 15 games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
"Ty's become one of our most dependable two-way forwards," said general manager Jim Nill. "His versatility allows him to play up and down the lineup, and he proved in the playoffs his ability to take his game to another level. He's a heart-and-soul type of player, and we're happy to have him under contract for the upcoming season."
The Port Perry, Ont., native has 33 points in 109 career regular-season games.
Dallas selected Dellandrea with the 13th-overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.
