The Dallas Stars added some forward depth.
Nathan Bastian joined the team on a one-year, $775,000 contract, the team announced on Saturday.
Bastian recorded four goals and six assists in 59 games for the Devils last season. Over six NHL seasons, the 27-year-old scored 33 goals and added 35 helpers in 276 games.
Bastian, originally selected in the second round of the 2016 draft by New Jersey, has one goal and one assist in 17 playoff games.
