Canada won't get an extra day to start developing a plan for Sweden's goaltender at the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Sweden coach Sam Hallam said Tuesday the team has decided on a starting goaltender, but will wait until Wednesday to name his choice for the tournament opener against Canada that evening in Montreal.
Filip Gustavsson of the Minnesota Wild, Samuel Errsson of the Philadelphia Flyers and Linus Ullmark of the Ottawa Senators are Sweden's three candidates.
Ullmark won the Vezina Trophy in 2023 as a member of the Boston Bruins.
