Tye Kartye is staying in Seattle.
The Kraken re-signed the forward to a two-year deal with an average annual value of $1.25 million, the team announced on Saturday.
"We're happy to keep Tye within the organization for two more years," said Kraken general manager Jason Botterill in a statement. "Tye has worked to develop his game with us over the last few seasons, and we look forward to continuing that growth moving forward."
Kartye scored six goals and added seven assists in 63 games with Seattle last season. He also added four points (two goals, two assists) in three games with Coachella Valley of the American Hockey League.
The 24-year-old winger made his NHL debut during Seattle's post-season run during the 2022-23 campaign, recording three goals and two assists in 10 games.
