Veteran forward Trevor Lewis is attending Winnipeg Jets training camp on a professional tryout.
The Jets announced their training camp roster on Friday, which included Lewis on a PTO, as well as defenceman Jimmy Oligny and goaltender Cole Kehler.
Lewis, 33, spent his entire 12-year NHL career with the Los Angeles Kings until becoming an unrestricted free agent this past off-season. He scored six goals and 12 points in 56 games in 2019-20.
In 674 career regular-season games, Lewis has accumulated 70 goals and 163 points, while posting 23 points in 79 career post-season contests. The Salt Lake City, Ut., native won a pair of Stanley Cups with the Kings in 2012 and 2014.
Oligny, 27, recorded four goals and 16 points along with 83 penalty minutes for the AHL’s Manitoba Moose in 2019-20.
Kehler, 23, spent most of 2019-20 with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL, an affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights, posting a 14-10-4 record in 31 games with a 3.05 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage.
