Defenceman Chase Priskie has been signed by the Washington Capitals to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000, the team announced Wednesday.
The 27-year-old scored 11 goals and 22 points in 58 AHL games with the San Diego Gulls and Rochester Americans last season.
In 184 career AHL games with San Diego, Rochester, the Charlotte Checkers, the Syracuse Crunch and Springfield Thunderbirds, Priskie has scored 95 points (30 goals, 65 assists).
He has recorded no points, three hits and three blocks in four career NHL appearances with his hometown Florida Panthers.
Priskie was originally drafted by the Washington Capitals with the 177th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft.
