Washington Capitals sign F Graeme Clarke to one-year, two-way deal

The Capitals announced on Wednesday the signing of forward Graeme Clarke to a one-year, two-way contract. The contract holds a value of $775,000.

The 24-year-old winger played the 2024-25 season with the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League. He led Iowa with 186 shots on goal and tied for first in game-winning goals (four). Clarke also tied for second in total points (37) and tied for fourth in goals (16).

Clarke has played in 282 career AHL games with the Wild and Utica Comets. He has a career total of 186 points.

Clarke was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the third round (80th) of the 2019 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Devils on Jan. 6, 2024.
