Lane Hutson's historic rookie season with the Montreal Canadiens has earned him the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie.
The NHL announced Hutson had won the award Tuesday morning, after his family recently surprised him with a trophy during a dinner celebrating his impressive first season.
Hutson will speak to the media on Tuesday morning to reflect on his accomplishments as a rookie and his outlook for next season.
