Bobby Brink is set to lace up back in his home state.
The Minnesota Wild have acquired the right winger from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for defenceman David Jiricek, the teams announced Friday.
Brink, 24, has had a solid campaign for the Flyers, tallying 13 goals and 13 assists in 55 games this year. He's lacing up for an average of 15:29 of ice time per night.
The Minnetonka, Minn., native was drafted by the Flyers 34th overall in 2019.
Per The Athletic's Michael Russo, Brink is expected to make his Wild debut Friday night against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Jiricek, meanwhile, has struggled to break into the Wild blue line picture. He's been held without a point in 25 games this season while playing an average of 11:43 per night.
The Wild acquired the 22-year-old from the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2024 for a haul of draft picks.
