Minnesota and Philadelphia struck a minor deal on Sunday.
The Wild sent forward Boris Katchouk to the Flyers in exchange for defenceman Roman Schmidt, the teams announced.
Schmidt has appeared in 29 AHL games with the Syracuse Crunch and Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season. He's totalled just one assist this campaign, but has seven total AHL points in his career.
The 23-year-old will report to the Iowa Wild of the AHL.
Katchouk, 27, has appeared in 179 NHL games since being drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2016. He's totalled 15 goals and 21 assists for 36 points in those games between the Lightning, Blackhawks and Senators.
He appeared in three NHL games for the Lightning this season before he was shipped to the Wild in December. He has 10 points in the AHL this year between the Crunch and Iowa.
