Bobby Brink is sticking around in his home state.
On Tuesday, the Wild announced that they were re-signing the 24-year-old winger to a one-year deal worth $2.75 million.
Brink was a trade-deadline acquisition by Minnesota after spending his entire career with the Philadelphia Flyers. The Wild sent 22-year-old defenceman David Jiricek the other way.
In 13 games with the Wild, Brink scored two goals and added two assists. He also added an assist in four playoff games with Minnesota this season.
A native of Minnetonka, Minn., the five-foot-eight forward has 38 goals and 60 assists in 214 career games. He was drafted by the Flyers 34th overall in 2019.
