The Minnesota Wild have locked down one of their forward prospects.
Charlie Stramel signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Wild on Monday that will begin in the 2026-27 season.
Stramel, 21, recorded 44 points (19 goals and 25 assists), seven game-winning goals, five power-play goals, 15 penalty minutes and a plus-29 rating in 37 games during his senior NCAA season with Michigan State.
He was named a Top Ten finalist for the Hobey Baker Award and earned All-Big Ten First Team honours.
Before his two seasons at Michigan State, Stramel spent two seasons at the University of Wisconsin.
The Wild selected Stramel 21st overall in 2023.
