Wild sign defender Dmitry Kulikov to two-year, $4.5M contract

The Minnesota Wild have signed defenceman Dmitry Kulikov to a two-year, $4.5-million contract, the club announced Wednesday.

Kulikov split the 2020-21 season between the Edmonton Oilers and New Jersey Devils, putting up four points in 48 games while averaging 19:10 minutes of ice per night.

Prior to his time in Edmonton and Jersey, he spent time in Buffalo, Florida and Winnipeg.

The 30-year-old has 725 career NHL games on his resume, with 174 points in that span.
