The Minnesota Wild have signed forward Marco Rossi to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Friday.

Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed by the Wild.

Rossi, who led the OHL in assists (81) and points (120) last season, was selected ninth overall in the 2020 NHL Draft.

The five-foot-nine product of Feldkirch, Austria, was named the OHL's Most Outstanding Player of the Year, making him just the second European import player to win the award.
