Vinnie Hinostroza's time in the State of Hockey has come to an end.
The Minnesota Wild have traded the forward to the Florida Panthers in exchange for future considerations, the teams announced Friday.
Hinostroza, 31, has three goals and 10 points in 48 games for the Wild this season. He was claimed off waivers by the Wild last February and played in 73 games for the team.
Through his 11-season NHL career, the Chicago native has played games for the Chicago Blackhawks, Arizona Coyotes, Florida Panthers, Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators.
He has 62 career goals and 171 career points.
