The Minnesota Wild will look to clinch a series victory without one of their veteran blue-liners.
Head coach John Hynes announced that defenceman Jonas Brodin will not play in Game 6 for the Wild on Thursday (7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT, Sportsnet 360, Sportsnet+). The 32-year-old has been day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
Brodin left Game 5 after taking a Mikko Rantanen shot off the foot early in the second period, and did not return. Brodin was reportedly spotted heading to the team bus on crutches after the game.
Coming into the lineup for Brodin is Jeff Petry. He will be paired with Zach Bogosian, who will shift to the left side.
Hynes also said that Nico Sturm will draw in for Bobby Brink and will centre the fourth line between Nick and Marcus Foligno.
