The Minnesota Wild will be without their leading scorer on Thursday.
Kirill Kaprizov won't play against the Chicago Blackhawks due to a lower-body injury and is considered day-to-day moving forward, the team announced.
It is unclear when Kaprizov suffered the injury. He played 21:54 with an assist in the Wild's win over the Blackhawks on Tuesday.
Kaprizov has 38 goals and 42 assists for 80 points in 69 games this season.
The Wild enter Thursday's game sitting third in the Central Division with a 39-18-12 record.
