The Winnipeg Jets re-signed unrestricted free agent Vladislav Namestnikov to a two-year, $4-million contract on Saturday.
Namestnikov's new deal will have an AAV of $2 million. His previous deal was for one year at $2.5 million.
The 30-year-old Russian was obtained by the Jets leading up to the trade deadline from San Jose for a fourth-round pick in 2025, two days after he was obtained by the Sharks for Michael Eyssimont from the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Namestnikov was a first-round pick, 27th overall, by the Lightning in 2011.
In 630 career games with the Lightning, Rangers, Senators, Avalanche, Red Wings, Stars and Jets, Namestnikov has 115 goals and 146 assists for 261 points.
