Winnipeg Jets sign goaltender David Rittich to one-year deal

The Winnipeg Jets have bolstered their goaltending by signing David Rittich to a one-year deal worth $900,000, the team announced Wednesday.

The 29-year-old native of Jihlava, Czechia, has a career 2.93 goals-against average and .904 save percentage in 152 games. Last season, Rittich played in Nashville, posting a 3.57 GAA and .886 SV% in 17 games.

Rittich has previously also played in Calgary and Toronto.
