The Toronto Maple Leafs are now on the clock.
After a stunning NHL Draft Lottery on Tuesday, the Maple Leafs won the rights to the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.
The Maple Leafs entered the lottery with the fifth-best odds to win, but they also could have forfeited their first-round pick if they had fallen outside the top five.
But since the ping-pong balls fell their way, the Maple Leafs will now have their pick of the top NHL prospects — including Penn State superstar Gavin McKenna.
It's the first time the Maple Leafs have picked No. 1 since they selected Auston Matthews first overall in the 2016 NHL Draft.
