The Columbus Blue Jackets have agreed to a two-year, $3.8-million deal with centre Jack Roslovic as part of Saturday’s blockbuster trade with the Winnipeg Jets.
Roslovic, who was born in Columbus, was dealt to the Blue Jackets along with Patrik Laine in exchange for Pierre-Luc Dubois and a third-round pick.
Roslovic was sent to the Blue Jackets as an unsigned restricted free agent. The 23-year-old had asked for a trade out of Winnipeg and was not with the Jets to start the 2020-21 season.
The 25th overall pick in 2015, Roslovic scored 12 goals and 29 points in 71 games for the Jets last season, his best as a pro.
