Blues sign goaltender Jon Gillies to one-year, two-way contract

The St. Louis Blues have signed goaltender Jon Gillies to a one-year, two-way contract.

Gillies, 26, appeared in 30 games for the AHL’s Stockton Heat in 2019-20, compiling a 14-10-4 record with a 2.69 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage.

A third-round pick (75th overall) of the Calgary Flames in 2012, the Concord, N.H., native has appeared in 12 career NHL games with a 4-5-1 record, a 2.71 GAA and a .903 save percentage.
