Canadiens sign forward Brandon Baddock to one-year, two-way deal

The Montreal Canadiens have signed forward Brandon Baddock to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Friday.

The deal is worth $700,000 in the NHL and $110,000 at the AHL level.

Baddock, 25, scored six goals and 15 points in 50 games in 2019-20 for the Binghamton Devils, the New Jersey Devils’ AHL affiliate.

A sixth-round pick, 161st overall, of the Devils in 2014, the Vermilion, Alta., native has 12 goals and 32 points along with 377 penalty minutes in 170 career AHL games.
