Vancouver Canucks defenceman Tyler Myers will be out two to four weeks with a lower-body injury, coach Bruce Boudreau said Friday.

The 32-year-old Myers had one goal and 17 assists in 82 games with the Canucks last season, his third year with the Canucks.

Myers has 325 points (87 goals, 238 assists) in 840 career NHL games with the Canucks, Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres.

The Sabres picked Myers in the first round (12th overall) of the 2008 NHL Draft.
