The Vancouver Canucks have re-signed forward Zack MacEwen to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $825,000.
MacEwen appeared in 17 games for the Canucks this season, registering five goals and one assist. The 24-year-old tallied 11 points in 20 games for the AHL’s Utica Comets in 2019-20.
“Zack is a physical two-way forward whose game complements our roster,” Canucks general manager Jim Benning said in a release. “He’s a talented young player with a high compete level and we’re excited to have him continue to develop his career as a member of the Vancouver Canucks.”
MacEwen originally signed with Vancouver as a free agent in 2017.
