The Vancouver Canucks have signed winger Justin Bailey to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Thursday.

Bailey, 24, was acquired by Philadelphia Flyers from the Buffalo Sabres in January, in exchange for Taylor Leier. He posted nine goals and 20 points in 37 games for the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League (AHL) last season. After the trade, Bailey recorded six goals and eight points in 17 games with the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

The Buffalo, N.Y., native has played in 63 NHL games with the Flyers and Sabres, posting five goals, nine points and 10 penalty minutes.

Bailey was originally drafted by Buffalo in the second round of the 2013 NHL Draft, 52nd overall.
