Connor McDavid will be in the lineup for the Edmonton Oilers on Monday night despite missing the team’s morning skate.

Head coach Dave Tippett confirmed that McDavid was “just resting, saving his energy” as to the reason why he missed the morning skate.

McDavid has registered 19 goals and 34 assists in 32 games for the Oilers this season.
