Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Ryan Poehling and Casey DeSmith all missed Pittsburgh Penguins practice on Monday morning.

Crosby, Malkin and DeSmith were out with a sickness, per head coach Mike Sullivan. Poehling is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and skated on his own earlier in the day.

The Penguins hold a 13-8-4 record this season and host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night.

The team is on a two-game winning streak and most recently beat the St. Louis Blues 6-2 on Saturday. Malkin tallied three assists in the game and has 24 points in 25 games this season. Crosby added an empty netter in the win — his 13th goal and 33rd point in 2022.
