Devils sign defenceman Brenden Dillon to three-year contract

The New Jersey Devils picked up some help along their blue line after trading away John Marino.

New Jersey has agreed to terms with Brenden Dillon on a three-year, $12 million deal according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

Dillon, 33, tallied eight goals and 12 assists in 77 games with the Winnipeg Jets last season. He also picked up three assists in three games against the Colorado Avalanche in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The New Westminster, B.C. native spent the last three seasons in Winnipeg after being traded there in July 2021.
