Flames sign forward Ben Jones to one-year, two-way contract

The Calgary Flames have signed forward Ben Jones to a one-year, two-way contract worth $750,000, the team announced Thursday.

Jones, a native of Waterloo, Ontario made his NHL debut last season with the Vegas Golden Knights.

The 23-year-old notched 25 goals and 16 assists for 41 points last season in Henderson (AHL).

Jones was a seventh round (189th overall) draft pick by the Golden Knights in 2017.
