The Calgary Flames will be looking to stay undefeated on their current five-game road trip when they visit the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night as +120 road underdogs on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Calgary offence has been clicking during the team’s current junket, scoring 11 total goals in their two road dates ahead of Tuesday night’s matchup at FLA Live Arena.

The Flames bounced back from a slow start on their way to a 6-4 win over Seattle to kick off their road trip, and followed up with a dominating 5-1 win in Chicago on Sunday night. Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk have sparked the Flames attack, with the duo combining to tally five goals and six assists in the team’s two recent wins. That marks a breakthrough for the Calgary offence, which had mustered just eight total goals during a preceding four-game losing streak. The Flames have also emerged as road warriors, posting wins in eight of their past 11 away contests, and they now sport a league-best 13-4-2 road record this season.

The Panthers close out a six-game homestand on Tuesday set as -140 favourites at online sports betting sites. Florida has overcome a recent 1-4-0 run with three straight victories, capped by a 5-2 rout of the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday afternoon. Overall, the Panthers have outgunned opponents by a wide 18-8 overall margin during their current win streak. However, Florida has struggled in recent dates with the Flames, losing seven of their past nine, capped by a 3-0 loss in Calgary’s most recent visit in March 2020.

Elsewhere on the Tuesday NHL odds, the Winnipeg Jets will be trying to win three in a row for the first time since mid-November as they visit the freefalling Arizona Coyotes as -195 road favourites. The Jets hung on to claim a 5-4 overtime win in Vegas on Sunday, which marked their first outing since December 19. The team now rides a two-game win streak after losing four of its previous five games. High scoring has been commonplace of late when the Jets hit the ice, with the OVER enjoying a steady 10-2 run in totals betting.

The Coyotes return home as +165 underdogs after seeing an impressive comeback bid fall just short in their last outing, an 8-7 loss in San Jose back on December 28. The Coyotes have enjoyed a rare offensive outburst during their recent two-game road trip, during which they scored 13 total goals. However, it has been a different story for the Coyotes on home ice, where they have been outscored by a 26-12 margin while losing six straight.
