Calgary Flames goaltender Dan Vladar will make his second start in a row when the team hosts the Arizona Coyotes on Monday night.

Vladar made 27 saves in a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals on Saturday.

The decision to give Vladar a second straight start comes with No. 1 netminder Jacob Markstrom struggling.

After losing 2-1 to the Montreal Canadiens in his last start last Thursday, the reigning Vezina Trophy finalist said, “I just suck at hockey right now.”

Vladar is 3-4-1 with a 2.61 goals-against average and .915 save percentage this season.

This will mark Vladar’s fifth start since Nov. 23.
