Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Shayne Gostisbehere has cleared waivers, making him temporarily eligible to be assigned to the taxi squad.

Vegas Golden Knights defenceman Nick Holden and Colorado Avalanche forward Liam O’Brien also cleared. No new players were added to the waiver wire on Wednesday.

Gostisbehere and Holden can now be shuffled between the roster and taxi squad without needing waivers for the next 30 days or until they play in 10 more games. The Avalanche announced Wednesday that O’Brien signed a one-year NHL deal with the club and he is expected to re-join the AHL’s Colorado Eagles, where he has played all season, now that he has cleared.

The Flyers return to the ice Wednesday night in Buffalo against the Sabres.
