Free-agent winger Vladimir Tarasenko has found himself new representation, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old Russian, who was traded by St. Louis to the New York Rangers in February in a deal that involved a first-round draft pick, is now represented by agents J.P. Barry and Pat Brisson of CAA. He had previously been represented by Paul Theofanous.
Tarasenko, who has 574 points in 675 NHL games, including 270 goals, is coming off an eight-year, $60-million contract the Blues signed him to in 2015.
As an unrestricted free agent, the Russian is free to sign with any team, though 14 teams are either over the $83.5 million cap or within $2.5 million of it.
