Golden Knights claim 2019 first-rounder Bjornfot off waivers from Kings

The Vegas Golden Knights claimed 2019 first-rounder Tobias Björnfot off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.

Bjornfit, a defenceman, was the Kings’ first-round pick, 22nd overall, in 2019.

In 117 career games with the Kings, the Upplands Vasby, Sweden, native scored one goal and added 14 assists for 15 points. He was also a minus-18 and had 26 minutes in penalties.
