The Vegas Golden Knights announced prior to Monday’s game that forward Jack Eichel and defenseman Alex Pietrangelo will not play against the Boston Bruins.

According to the team, Eichel is out as the result of a lower-body injury he’s dealing with, which they report to be a day-to-day matter.

The announcement comes after the 26-year-old star left Vegas’ game in Detroit early, after appearing to experience some discomfort while skating during the third period.

Pietrangelo’s absence Monday will mark the fourth-straight game the 32-year-old has missed. The team states he is out of the lineup due to “personal reasons.”

It is unclear at this point when Pietrangelo will return for the Golden Knights.
