The Vegas Golden Knights have signed restricted free agent Chandler Stephenson to a four-year contract extension worth $11 million, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

Stephenson, 26, was acquired by the Golden Knights from the Washington Capitals in exchange for a 2021 fifth-round pick in December.

The Saskatoon native racked up 11 goals and 26 points in 65 regular-season games between the Capitals and Golden Knights during the 2019-20 season, adding three goals and five points in the post-season for Vegas.

A third-round pick (77th overall) by Washington in 2012, Stephenson has 22 goals and 55 points in 209 career NHL regular-season contests.
