Golden Knights sign forward Mason Primeau to entry-level contract

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed forward Mason Primeau to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Monday.

Primeau, 19, played 10 games with the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights this season, adding three assists. The Owen Sound, Ont., native also played four contests in the ECHL, recording a goal and two assists with the Fort Wayne Komets.

Primeau has four seasons of experience in the OHL, registering 31 goals and 65 points in 174 career games with the Guelph Storm and North Bay Battalion.

The 19-year-old was selected by the Golden Knights in the fifth round of the 2019 NHL Draft, 141st overall.
