Carolina Hurricanes forward Teuvo Teräväinen has been placed on the injured reserve with an upper-body injury, the team confirmed Saturday.

The first-line forward left a Nov. 10 game against the Edmonton Oilers after putting up two assists in what ended up as a 7-2 rout for the Hurricanes.

Teräväinen had zero goals and seven assists across 14 games, and was a plus-3. Stefan Noesen is expected to move up into Teräväinen’s place.
