Mike Reilly is staying in New York.

The New York Islanders announced Monday that they have re-signed the 30-year-old defenceman to a one-year contract.

Reilly set career-highs in goals (six) and points (24) in 2023-24 with the Islanders after being claimed off waivers from the Florida Panthers in late November. He added one goal and one assist in New York’s first-round series loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.

He has played with six different franchises over nine seasons in the NHL.

The Athletic‘s Arthur Staple reported the deal is worth $1.25 million.
