Jesper Boqvist accepts qualifying offer from Devils

New Jersey Devils forward Jesper Boqvist has accepted his qualifying offer from the team which means he will play on a one-year, two-way contract worth $874,125 this upcoming season.

Boqvist set career highs in games played (56), goals (10) and points (23) last season with the Devils. The 23-year-old was selected in the second round of the 2017 NHL Draft.

Boqvist won silver medals at IIHF under-18 World Junior Championship and the world juniors in 2018
