The Winnipeg Jets have placed defencemen Logan Stanley and forward Saku Mäenalanen on injured reserve, and recalled forward Kevin Stenlund from the Manitoba Moose (AHL) on an emergency basis.

Stanley returned to the Jets lineup on Dec. 8, for the first time since fracturing his foot blocking a shot back on Oct. 24. The 24-year-old notched an assist in his first game back but then only played three minutes the following night and now is back out of the lineup.

Mäenalanen has six points in 25 games played for Winnipeg this year. The former fifth-round pick left the game Thursday night and did not return after being hit into the boards by St. Louis Blues defencemen Niko Mikkola.

Stenlund has 14 points in 19 games played for the Moose this year and will look to make his season debut in the NHL with the Jets as they take on the Washington Capitals Sunday night.
