Winnipeg Jets prospect Rutger McGroarty will return for his junior year at the University of Michigan.
McGroarty was the Jets’ 14th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
The 20-year-old scored 16 goals and 52 points in 36 games this season. He earned a spot on the All-Big Ten First Team.
McGroarty was a member of Team USA’s gold-medal team for the 2024 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships where he scored five goals and nine points in seven games.
