Jets sign Adam Lowry to five-year, $16.25M contract extension

The Winnipeg Jets have signed forward Adam Lowry to a five-year, $16.25-million extension. The deal carries an average annual value of $3.25 million.

Lowry, 28, is currently in the final season of a three-year, $8.75-million deal he signed as a restricted free agent in July 2018. The St. Louis native has eight goals and 20 points in 44 games for the Jets this season while averaging 15:42 of ice time.

In seven seasons with the Jets since being drafted in the third round (67th overall) in 2011, Lowry has racked up 65 goals and 143 in 452 regular-season games. In 31 career post-season contests, Lowry has three goals and nine points for Winnipeg.
