The Winnipeg Jets have signed veteran forward Trevor Lewis to a one-year, $750,000 contract, the team announced.
Lewis joined the Jets on a professional tryout after spending his entire 12-year NHL career with the Los Angeles Kings until becoming an unrestricted free agent this past off-season. He scored six goals and 12 points in 56 games in 2019-20.
In 674 career regular-season games, Lewis has accumulated 70 goals and 163 points, while posting 23 points in 79 career post-season contests. The Salt Lake City, Ut., native won a pair of Stanley Cups with the Kings in 2012 and 2014.
