The Winnipeg Jets will be without Tyler Toffoli as they take on the Los Angeles Kings Monday night.

Head coach Rick Bowness told reporters that Toffoli was “under the weather” and would be a game-time decision. The 31-year-old did not partake in warmup at Canada Life Centre.

Cole Perfetti will slot into the lineup in Toffoli’s place.

Toffoli was acquired by the Jets from the New Jersey Devils at the trade deadline. This season, he hit the 30-goal plateau for the third time in his career, with 30 goals and 20 assists in 72 games split between the Devils and Jets.

Since he was acquired, Toffoli has scored four goals and tallied two assists in 11 games with Winnipeg.

He won the Stanley Cup with the Kings in 2014.

The Jets are marred in a six-game losing streak that’s seen them fall to third in the Central Division and fifth in the West and have not yet clinched their playoff spot.
