Edmonton Oilers forward Zack Kassian has been fined $2,500 for “unsportsmanlike conduct” against the Colorado Avalanche in Game 2 of the Western Conference Final on Thursday night.

Kassian received a penalty for ripping off the helmet of Avalanche defenceman Bowen Byram, which seemingly led to his fine.

The Oilers are trailing the Avalanche 2-0 as the series shifts back to Edmonton for Game 3. You can watch the game live on Sportsnet on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. MT.
