Lightning sign NCAA free agent Odeen Tufto to entry level contract

The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed Quinnipiac University’s Odeen Tufto to an entry level contract for the 2021-2022 season. Tufto will report to Syracuse on an amateur try-out contract.

Tufto, 24, played in 139 career games with Quinnipiac over four seasons, scoring 39 goals and 168 total points. Tufto, who hails from Chaska, Minnesota, was also named team captain for the Bobcats for the 2020-21 season.

Tufto led the Bobcats in scoring all four years of his NCAA career, including his freshman season, and was named ECAC Player of the Year this year.
