Toronto Maple Leafs forward Pierre Engvall has been suspended for one game, the NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced Friday.
The 26-year-old received the suspension for high-sticking Los Angeles Kings defenceman Sean Durzi during a game Thursday night.
Engvall added a power-play goal in Toronto’s 5-0 win despite his night being cut short after he received a match penalty.
The Maple Leafs’ 2014 seventh-round pick has scored four goals and totalled seven points in 27 games this season.
